Realme has announced that it will soon launch a smartphone powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 778G 5G SoC .

Realme doesn't tell us anything about this Snapdragon 778G 5G-powered smartphone, but it did reveal that the phone is codenamed "Quicksilver" and will come with a GT Mode and new cooling system to offer a "leap-forward performance" to its users. The Snapdragon 778G 5G is built on TSMC's 6nm node and comprises eight cores - 1x Kryo 670 (A78) clocked at 2.4GHz, 3x Kryo 670 (A78) cores clocked at 2.2GHz, and 4x Kryo 670 (A55) cores that max out at 1.9GHz. The chipset comes with the Adreno 642L GPU to handle graphically intensive tasks such as gaming and video editing, and it also has an integrated Snapdragon X53 5G Modem-RF, which enables mmWave and sub-6 5G connectivity.
