We’ve seen PUBG Mobile collaborating with several massive
entertainment franchises, the latest one being with the Godzilla VS Kong movie.
Players loved watching the two most powerful Kaijus appearing in the game.
Well, you’d be delighted to know that Tencent has even more interesting
collaborations planned for PUBG Mobile. The developers recently confirmed an
upcoming collaboration between PUBG Mobile and the massively popular Japanese
anime, Jujutsu Kaisen. Recently, the official YouTube channel of PUBG Mobile
Indonesia released a 2021 Team up challenge video for the Pertandingan Final.
The video talked about a lot of interesting things, including all the previous
crossover events. The devs stated that the community absolutely loved the
previous Godzilla VS Kong x PUBG Mobile crossover. They confirmed that even
more interesting crossover events are coming to PUBG Mobile in the future.
Interestingly, one of those collaborations includes Jujutsu Kaisen.
For the unacquainted, Jujutsu Kaisen is a popular Japanese
anime based on a manga series of the same name. The anime is set in a fictional
world full of Curses and Sorcerers. MAPPA, the animation studio behind Attack
on Titan’s final season, premiered Season 1 of Jujutsu Kaisen last year. The
entire anime community loved the anime because of its story, characters, and
last but not least, its jaw-dropping animation. So, you could understand why the
PUBG Mobile x Jujutsu Kaisen collab is a surprise for the community. According
to the announcement, the upcoming collab will be global; however, the official
poster for the crossover states, “Excluding Japan.” Unfortunately, the
announcement didn’t reveal anything about the collaboration’s release date or
the content. Anyway, we’ll definitely get some more information about it pretty
soon.
